ABOUT THE WRITERS:
Peter Howell has been a movie critic for nearly 30 of his 50 years as a journalist, writing for the Toronto Star, Canada's largest newspaper. Prior to this he was the Star's rock critic. Howell is the past president and co-founder of the Toronto Film Critics Association. He is a voting member of the Critics Choice Association. He's a regular attendee at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the Cannes Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.

Margaret Bream, who has a particular interest in movies about nature and the environment, began attending the TIFF, Cannes and Sundance festivals in 1997. She has been a journalist for 43 years. For the past 23 years, she has been an editor at the Toronto Star.
